.Children learn through games:- Yes, play for children can mean something very different than for us, adults. Children are constantly learning through every activity they do and they learn a lot even from games. But games come in many different forms. Physical games help your children in their physical development to a great extent and games for the mind, such as Chess, Checkers, Sudoku and so on help your children develop their cognitive skills.

.Social development:- As adults, we do not have many ways to connect socially with others. We meet people at work, or connect through hobbies. For kids it is mostly through play. Be it in school or at a playground, children tend to make friends and play with each other. They approach each other with lesser efforts when compared to adults and make friends rather quickly. This interaction happens with many children and helps your child with their social development. Every child is different and communicating with different people helps your child increase their range of communication.

.Emotional development :- This is also another important aspect of your child's overall development. When children play a lot, they tend to encounter many emotional hurdles like fights with friends, not getting their way in a game and so on. Play helps your child be in touch with their emotions and helps in their emotional development. Learning through games can be extremely beneficial to your children as well. Many parents who want thier children to learn Chess, (as it helps with their cognitive skills) must look for places that offer the same through a fun approach involving games.

.Increases confidence and helps them to be brave:- When playing a game lot of skills like decision making, critical thinking and so on are developed. When your child is able to solve a problem during play or when they stand up to themselves, their confidence is increased. Play teaches kids to explore and this in turn helps children to be brave.

.Increases creativity:- Playing helps your children with their imagination. Children tend to play make up games all the time. This helps them particularly with their language and creativity as they assume different roles and try to deliver them with accuracy. Even games like Chess can increase your child's creativity as a lot of thinking is required to play Chess.

.Good sportsmanship:- Failure is unavoidable in any game and the more children play the more they encounter failure. But this helps them deal with failure in a better way. The confidence with which they accept failure will help them succeed much more in the future. Failure is an important step for success and your child will be equipped to deal with it effortlessly and also accept success with humility.
